A plain-language explanation of what information Nimara collects, why we need it, and the choices you have.
Nimara Technology Inc. is responsible for the personal information under our control. We collect only what we reasonably need to respond to requests, schedule conversations, deliver agreed work, meet our obligations, and protect our website.
This policy is intended to explain our practices under applicable Canadian privacy law, including Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act and the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act where it applies.
Do not send confidential records or personal information about your clients, service users, donors, employees, or volunteers through a website form or the booking page. We can agree on a safer way to exchange information if an engagement moves forward.
Our website host and its security providers may process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, requested pages, referring page, and request time. This information helps deliver the website, prevent spam and abuse, diagnose problems, and maintain security.
Booking a free assessment or requesting the kit does not subscribe you to promotional email. We only send Nimara’s occasional emails if you tick the box to receive them, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
We only use a phone number you give us to call or text you about the kit and how Nimara can help, and only if you tick the phone consent box.
We use a limited number of providers to operate the website and respond to you:
Some providers process or store information outside Canada, including in the United States and the European Union. Information handled outside Canada may be subject to the laws and lawful access requirements of that country. We remain responsible for selecting providers and limiting what we share with them.
We do not sell personal information.
Nimara does not use advertising cookies or marketing pixels, and we never sell your information. With your permission, we use two analytics tools to understand how people use this site, so we can make it clearer and more useful: Google Analytics, which counts visits and shows which pages are read and where visitors come from; and Microsoft Clarity, which shows clicks and scrolling and records anonymous replays of visits. Clarity hides what you type into forms.
These tools only set cookies after you choose Accept on the analytics notice. When Clarity runs, Microsoft may also set its own cookies, including one on bing.com, which Microsoft uses for Clarity and its other services. If you choose Decline, Clarity does not load, and Google Analytics may receive only basic signals without cookies or identifiers, such as an anonymous page view. You can change your choice at any time with the Analytics choices link at the bottom of every page. Our host, its security providers and the booking page may also use essential cookies and technical logs needed to deliver and protect the site.
We keep booking and kit-request information only as long as reasonably needed to respond, follow up, maintain appropriate business records, and resolve concerns. Client and transaction records may be kept longer when required by an agreement or by legal, tax, insurance, or professional obligations. When information is no longer reasonably needed, we delete it, anonymize it, or securely dispose of it.
If you ask to receive our occasional emails, we keep your email address until you unsubscribe or withdraw your consent, subject to records we may need to retain to document that choice or meet legal obligations.
We use practical safeguards suited to the sensitivity of the information. These include limiting access, using reputable service providers, protecting accounts, and avoiding unnecessary collection. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

We may update this policy when our services, providers, or obligations change. The current version and its last-updated date will remain available on this page.
We'd like to use analytics to see which pages help people, and where the site is confusing. No ads, and we never sell data. Privacy Policy
